Every 1620 Stretch NYCO pant shares the same foundation: our proprietary Stretch NYCO fabric, developed by 1620 because you deserve better workwear. It's a 14 oz plain weave made from a blend of Cotton, Cordura® nylon and spandex.
All 1620 pants feature a PFAS-free Durable Water Repellent finish. That means water beads off the surface instead of soaking through, keeping you drier when the weather turns.
Most brands either skip the DWR entirely or use older chemical finishes with PFAS (forever chemicals). We have never used them, since day 1. This is the right way to do it.
